thanks i used free machine stitch and a straight zig zag stitch. ye i dyed the fabric first then did batik over the dyed areas leaving gaps in between, and then i used black dye in the gaps

i love working on a sewing machine! i can actually zone out completely while sewing! ^_^ you get use to using it after a while! then it just becomes fun fun fun
