Here's "Illusory" - measuring 14" x 18", painted with acrylic and watercolor, and will be available with Gallery 1988 's annual "Crazy 4 Cult" show this friday in their pop-up NYC space! This piece, of course, is inspired by the brilliant film "Pan's Labyrinth" written and directed by Guillermo del Toro. I've wanted to get this out of my system for 7 years now. Whew!

For anyone interested in purchasing the original piece, please contact the gallery directly via gallery1988west(at)gmail.com. I've gotten a lot of print requests for this, and as long as the original sells, I'll make prints available in my shop.

This was such a fun and challenging piece to do, as it's only my third time working with acrylic washes, but I'm definitely hooked on the process and look forward to incorporating the technique more with my work as I build up the illustration side of my portfolio.
