So, yeah. This began a couple weeks ago when I was just sitting, bored, and thinking to myself how awkward and confusing it would be for the HBG to one day walk into the attic expecting to see things as they were when he left all those years ago but instead finding Connie and her stuff.Then I made this horrid thing.

Kelly doesn't ship the Hatbox Ghost with anyone. In her headcanon, he and the beating-heart brides were just partners.

and honestly, not to offend any non-hatty+skeletor-shippers, but IΒ see skeletorΒ as seriously THE PERFECT match for Hatbox ghost.
Think about it:
*He and skeletor were both in the attic at the same time
*They're both skeletal
*They're both a lilΒ grumpy at times

Yeah, I admit the first times I saw he was holding the photo of Emilia (that's how I call Skeletor), I thought they were married or something like that ; but later, I asked her, she told me she's not the kind of person who ships non-canon ships, so she doesn't for them. I also asked her one year ago if he and the beating-heart brides were at least friends in her HC, she told me no, with the personnality she gave him, he hates people XD

Totally, I imagine him being a grump and hating a lot of things, except the few people he likes (and Scar. I dunno why, I LOVE depicting him as a big fan of Scar from TLK XD), and being very eloquent and loving to terrorize, but he's actually nice.

Hatbox Ghost as a Scar fan ? Yes, why not. Since most people seem to assume he died after the end of The Lion King, having his ghost visiting the Haunted Mansion, or even becoming a permanent resident of the Mansion (the first animal ghost of the mansion, actually, except for the few anthropomorphic dogs of that story:Β hauntedmansion.wikia.com/wiki/β¦ ). If I knew how to draw Scar convincingly, I'd draw that; problem is, I don't.Β

Huh, you say "The Beating Heart BRIDES". Do you think of each version as a different character ? I personally don't, for me they're just updates in her appearance, the only ones to be separate characters would be Constance and Melanie. Of course, I'm opened to other interpretations, and I admit that it makes good gags for the pics in which all the brides meet and chat, but it's not a canon stuffβ¦Β

Horrid, try horrible hilarious! The facial expressions when HBG says "you've gained weight" are simply marvelous, you should try publishing these, maybe running these ideas by some of the bigwigs at WDI will get them thinking about ways to bring hatty back!
