Description Yet another DC character. Batwoman has been one of my favorites since her introduction in 52. I still wanted to practice shading with my pencils. The difference between this and my earlier DC pics is the blending of the pencils. I put the details on her boots and then realized that if I blended the pencil in I was going to lose the details. During the scanning, I realized that her left leg needs some additional shading. So there is still some work to be done. I suppose I'll need to go back and visit this pic later.

Thanks. There are still a few things I would like to work on with this pic. The hair didn't turn out as nicely as I would have liked.

Thanks. About a year ago, my uncle was looking through my sketchbook and noticed that I left the hands off a lot of my sketches. After we joked about it, I knew I needed to work on it.

It took awhile to figure out the foot and leg position on Batwoman. I'm still not entirely satisfied with it, but it's better than before. I initially sketched it out a day before I shaded the pic. When I went to shade, I had to erase everything below the belt and start over. This is definitely an improvement over the first attempt.

haha, thats funny, I've had moments like that as well. Where it took someone else noticing to make me commit to getting better at something, for me it was faces.(still getting better >.<)
