My team fought around me. I can hear their teeth tearing flesh, and their shouts of fear and anger. I should help them, but my paws won't move. Waves crash down on my back, trying to rip me off my paws, pull me down into their depths and suffocate me. I want to fight, to help, to do something to save the world, my family, and friends. But what can I do, what can I try that hasn't already gone wrong? I don't know the right thing, I can't find the way by myself, can't make the right decisions. I should be guiding them, teaching them, protecting them, but I'm a failure. A coward. Weak, pathetic, useless, liar, hypocrite, traitor. I don' belong here, all I'll do is hurt them, put them in danger, guide them to failure.

Beet loves her... Idolizes her, sees her as a hero. I thought she would be flawed like we are, but I still though she could guide me. Why is it when I look into her eyes all I see is darkness and shadows even through her light? Am I crazy? Is she really trying to do the right thing, or is she just toying with us until she's ready to throw us aside like a kit's forgotten feather? I can't trust her, but I can't trust myself either.

Beet, I hope you're right, and she gives you everything you ever wanted. I'm sorry I lied to you, and I'm sorry I won't be there with you when you succeed. She won't let me be, because I will fight her every step of the way. I hope you understand, I hope you can forgive me. I'm afraid, and I need you, I can't fight the current alone forever, but I'm afraid I will have to.
