With style and grace, Rarity chimes in with some slice-and-dice action! Only she could cut a boulder in half so close to perfection~
A brief-ish commentary on her outfit design;
I wanted something sleek and stylish for Rarity, which is where the rich blue and darker/black colours come from, along with the gold highlights. Her "tiara" is based off the one she wore in the "Best Night Ever" episode in season 1, and the ruby heart in the center, is of course, Spike's gift.
I also felt she would have a glittering "cloak" similar to Twilight to give a bit of a princess wanna-be vibe to her.
Lastly, her weapons - which I imagine a lot of people being perplexed by - are inspired by the ends of needles. I probably could have had it be a split weapon with one end being the thread-hole and the other being the sharp tip, but symmetrical weapons seemed more fitting for her. They're mostly a channeling vessel for her to put her magic into, adding a bit of electricity to her strikes~
