i like the painterly feel to it. It's just messy enough to not really be recognizable in the face, making it kind of giving him a dream/nightmarish feel

I love how the brush marks in this all seen sort of organic, even in the background - as if everything is being pulled in towards the figure (Sir Popeye Peterson). Really love the colours as well, the low saturation works well.
