Description
Commissioned for of her drow character Aureliaus.He was described to me as being a drow assassin that carries a fair amount of ornate high quality blades. He is also a poison master and carries several darts on an upper armband. His skintone was also a warmer brown compared to the usual black/grey drow are known to have.
Ah, I haven't painted a drow in so long... so it was really fun to get back to drawing them. The amount of high detailing was very time consuming (especially his braided hair and detailed weapon hilts) but I enjoyed it anyway and I'm quite happy at the result.
Please No Critique Desired !!!
Painted completely in Photoshop.

hello i would like to use this picture, as a profile picture due to its extremely well done art, and my still ongoing identity crisis, and love of drow since i've been reading Drizzt Do'Urden, since i was 7. and i could read college level then, no joke. in truth i love artwork, but i am so bad at art even my stick figures look like crap. and honestly this is how i roll the die on choices on my drow and what i get. i am also about to ask kitKatKoi for permission to use as well since i like having absolute permission before i use something. its what happens when you shape your psyche around book characters when your mind is shapable. Favorite drow: Drizzt Do'Urden, Vierna Do'Urden, Liriel Baenre, Qilue Veladorn, Jarlaxle, Zaknafein, and To'sun Armgo. Thank and keep up with the amazing art!

Having read pretty much all of the drizzt books, I must admit to being a bit of a Drizzt geek also. Thanks for all of your lovely fan art, and in case anyone hasnt told you, the improvement in your abilities is amazing when comparing the proportions and level of detail between the old and new. Great job, you are getting better all of the time.
