Jules is my broken robot girl. Her body still hasn't arrived, but i can't wait to get her finished!!

Did you draw on the scar and edges of the red stuff, or did you really take a blowtorch to it and make out the actual scar?

The actual crack in the metal is a part of the original sculpt, so it's just shaded with chalk pastels (then glassed to make it look like it's metal). Then I used some different acrylic mediums to pile up the burnt skin.

I got into them because they were so customizable, I just had to have one! I really wanted to try my hand at face-ups. I never dreamed that I'd love doing face-ups so much though!

No, I've never used a practice head. Not sure how much it cost me.... ummm if I had been buying all of the materials new (I already had some of them) I guess it would have been $50-$100.

Wow. Then if you were doing a faceup, and you made a mistake, how do you erase?

Depends on how bad the mistake is. I use windsor newton brush cleaner if I need to get rid of everything, and I use a magic clean eraser or kneaded eraser for small mistakes.

She's on the road to recovery, and working towards happy right now. She'll get there in her own time.
But hopefully soon she and I will have the time and energy to do a new BJDcast. She's moving and I'm overworked, so it's hard to find the time! @_@

Settle down, go back to your happy places, buy some new dolls, and then show us around. We're in no hurry to see a new video, we just want one...eventually. Next year is perfectly acceptable, really.
