(Sorry for the bad quality. I had to take a pic with my camera.)

In my art class we had to take a main picture to transfer, square by square, and blend it with another/others to "make it our own." Half of it had to be tonal (Freddie in charcoal), the other half linear (various pencils). The linear half is wings -- which I'm holding off on showing since I used another dA member's picture for reference. My teacher suggested leaving his hand linear as well for some reason. I think I'll shade it in after it's presented for the final, though.

So this is my 2009 tribute piece for November 24, 1991 -- the day that a rock hero became a rock god.
