Wow! IΒ΄ve heard that waves are pretty difficult to paint...am I right?
Thou you are a professional wave painter!
I would so much love to learn how to paint better...
my works wouldnΒ΄t still be so real as yours. ^^
But maybe that ainΒ΄t what it has to be. x3
Lovely job with this! :3

I really love the way you paint the sea waves. Do you sail at sea or look at the sea often?

i live about 1.5 hours from the ocean. I have just painted it for years, so its one of the things that just comes natural to me. I still think i have a lot to improve upon, i have goals to paint almost photorealisticly and im not there yet, but i guess theres good things to be said for having a painting style too.

oil paint is my favorite medium. you can do soooo much more than you can with say, pastels or acrylic. when you do try it, i highly recommend NOT getting paint that says student grade (poor quality and the colors become muddy looking) and for the medium i recommend Liquin, it is the most fantastic stuff in the world. Mix it with your paint so it will smooth and blend on the canvas, and use lots of liquin to make glazes. best thing about it is it will make the paint dry almost overnight. im here for tips if you want them.
