An Irishman who my family knows gave us a jack he bred along with an old limerick blessing:

"Pray your russell don't shit on the rug"
"Or go kill a neighbor's cat...."

Well little Doug hasn't killed cats yet but he has shaken a couple of squirrels around. His bark has been known to keep the neighborhood up.
But he's a great at scaring off animals in the yard and is a good little heater in the winter when he cuddles.

The background? well my dog loves sitting in the window so its just that there was a lotta light blurring out the net curtain which was behind him.
And he hardly moves when I take photos of him
