About all that's known about him is that he owns a casino, trains ground pokemon, and is terrifying on all accounts. He's no-nonsense when it comes to business, working as an undercover agent, and is one of the few high-rank Executives of Team Rocket to be on the field in the open. He rarely battles, finding them an utter waste of time anymore, though when he does he leaves no openings and has a team capable of sweeping without effort. However, he isn't without his humor, as evidence in some of the questionable names his pokemon tend to posess, or even faux reports he is known to send back if the others get too impatient with his fieldwork. He was coveted for his ability to speak with pokemon, able to empathize on an emotional level as well as understand them and speak with them effortlessly- befriending many rare pokemon in his youth. He had since closed his ability off after an event left him with only three pokemon alive, though the pokemon that did survive still retain the connection and painful loyalty. He shares this ability with his twin brother, Kameron- not that they get along. He actually finds the twin annoying. Anymore, his loyalty to Team Rocket is for their equipment and fundings, as he seeks a way to restore lost memories as well as secretely working with his brother on reviving those he lost.
Like the rest of the Akage name, he is cursed with bad luck- his in the form of irony that hits all at once. He's grown so used to things falling apart that it's treated as a normal event; a house could collapse around him and he'd continue on with reading the paper and drinking his coffee like it was nothing. His rather uncaring demeanor leaves most concerned for his mental stability- provided he really has any.

I was working on these a while back, so they're sorta old. They were made for my DS decal skins, but I may as well post them here, too. I guess.

Anyways. Kain. The epitome of my frustrations and horrible glitches. As a child playing for the first time, I can tell you I was mortified to see my used copy of Yellow brick. A key item- Copycat's doll- was in a trash can for starters. And wasn't even able to be used, so I never got the TM. And it took a slot up in my item pouch- replacing a key item needed. But you know nothing of horror until that doll is lost, and you are plagued by random battles against GHOST that you can do nothing against, and running left you with one pokemon missing from your team each time. You know nothing of terror until you enter pokemon tower, and encounter the same GHOST with Haunter's cry screaming "I WANT BLOOD" at you like a possessed channeler, still depleting your pokemon team every time you fled, forcing you to catch it just so you didn't black out or break the game, ending up with a haunter and a cubone. You don't know frustration until that same haunter caused your entire box to have a meltdown, turning everything into missingno except your party, and eventually the game finally hanging and freezing forever once you defeat the champion with what you had left, as if you never made it at all. Β All while trying to just make it through the game itself.Β
That was his first experience in training pokemon. We won't even discuss FireRed that bricked halfway through the game fighting Giovanni for the first time. After I had accidentally biked anywhere straight into a mystery zone that ended up being the Sevii Islands.

For reference, the Haunter's dex number was 354.

It's fun placing mega stones in random locations. Let me tell you.

Love how the head light works with your soft gradient cellshading.
