Beautiful job! One of the best fan arts I've seen that was still in the anime-style category. The color scheme here is wonderfully balanced. I'm particularly impressed with the automail and hair. I must try your hair shading method next time I draw my silver headed character.
Just one thing I'm a bit confused about. Is that his thumb I'm seeing on this side of his hand? 'cause its on the wrong side if it is. I can see it working if the thumb was bending across to the other side of the hand but I doubt most people do that. XD Its easily fixed by simply erasing the end of the thumb and painting the other fingers back in. ^^

Definitely. I like the other one for some of the filler episodes, but the actual plot was very confusing and quite unlike the manga.
