This is a prize for who won 2nd place in #PPG-Horror 's first ever contest.

~MoonPhase9 had asked me to draw a cover page for their fanfiction "Epidemic" which can be found here on FF.net: [link]

This is the summary:

Something evil is twisting its way through Townsville. But if the Powerpuff girls don't defeat it, they will lose the thing they hold most dear. Who has caused this? Why is this happening? And can you save the day in a post-apocolyptic world? PPG, RRB, Mitch and a load of angst.

It's a really good story, one that I'm currently subscribed to~

It's a really nice story, although perhaps "nice" isn't the best word to describe it xD There are some really dark themes in it, and the characters are all very well developed, showing a maturity that was both refreshing and appreciated. Mitch (the one on the far right in this picture) is quite an important character too, and his own angst is warranted for.

There was this one scene in the story which really broke my heart. It was when Bubbles found a dead baby in a house where the parents had died of the disease. The baby died of starvation, because no one was there to look after it. That was a shattering moment, both for me and Bubbles, and it was really well written. I tried to incorporate that scene with this picture, with the dead baby in the car with his/her parents, but I'm not sure how well that got across xD

I definitely recommend reading the story. You won't regret it. It's a fantastically written story, dark and mature, and who doesn't find post-apocalyptic type stories interesting?
