Lemme clear this up, the word 'to' in the title *points at title* doesn't literally means to as if in English 'to', but means 'and' in japanese. Have no idea why I named it Hazuki and Alex instead of Hazuki to Alex, so don't ask XDWhy the BIG blank white/light blue space? Because I didn't want to rub off the cloth attached to Hazuki's shirt XD As simple as that. There's Alex in the background looking over at unkown buildings XD Ehh...I did this sketch months ago, and was thinking of playing around with Open Canvas. Therefore this sketch has become a victim of Kazu's bad Open Canvas skills bwahahaha~!! After a while I gave up and switched to Photoshop because I ran out of patience with Open Canvas. Hazuki was mainly done with OC, but the rest were Photoshop. Nevertheless, OC is good because the colors are always better than Photoshop. I wonder why.. o.o
Didn't bother cleaning the lineart to retain the ultra sketchiness, ahahahaha~ So sue me, no use though, I'm no rich kid XP

*note: Haven't exactly confirm Hazuki's eye and hair color, so you'll might see many versions of her in the future.

I like the pencil-lineart-sketchy-ness. You pulled it off really well. I tried it once myself, but I don't think it worked... And the buildings remind me of the Evangelion manga. XD

God, you sketchiness gives this pic a lot of personality, not that it doesn't have any without 'em...Am I making sense? Anyway, this is really awesome. You're so talented (jealousy sinks in...but good jealousy)

Hmm...story huh... these two are from a group of four who are in monster/special creatures terminating business. Uhh...terminating doesn't sound right, sending them back to their original 'place' is more like it 
The other two is Kyo and ...Niki (lol haven't exactly decided his name). Kyo carries the luggage and does the fighting, while Niki is the one who does the analysing of ze monsters; stats and whatsoever

I had plans.... a year ago XD Still planning the storyline, had trouble figuring out how the starting should be like(i didn't really want Hazuki's encounter with the monsters to be the "girl-meets-monsters-and-freaks-out-and-some-dude-comes-and-tells-her-she's-the-CHOSEN-one" type, if you know what I mean. The story originally started out with her opening a mysterious book and the monsters starts coming out from it page by page,and sadly, that idea was somewhat adapted from the famous anime Cardcaptor Sakura and I didn't want it to look as if I had no idea of my own so yeah...I'm still looking

Darn CCS! But adaptation is great! I was playing Xenogears and the story was very similar, so I scrapped my original idea. Mostly it was inspired by FFVII in the beginning, with all the tampering to the human body in labs, etc., etc...and the main baddie was a good-guy-gone-bad with a long sword, just like a certain FFVII character we know, but darn...Xenogears...Oh well. I guess the idea is better now anyway.
Can't wait to see your sketches...in a couple of weeks or so, or maybe sooner, heh heh.

Yeah, they're sort of my characters from my comic. Unfortunately I never got around to start on the comic because I can't draw monsters ahahahaha XD and I haven't really figure out the main storyline yet =3

I rather like the sketchy feel as well. Gives it a very non-corporate, personal touch that many artists take for granted these days. As for the blank space, I think it's good. It gives the piece enough asymmetry to be interesting. Also, you could easily turn this into a really nice postcard, if you felt so inclined. Well done.
