Yeah, I watched it last year, the story is really amazing in each episode, but I didn't like the last one, specially the way in which Kira died.
My favorite character? Kira/Light, of course.

by the way, why japanese people (in anime) don't pronounce English correctly?
it's very funny, they say "Lighto" instead of "Light".

I think it's because 'Light' is a non japanese word, so they have to pronounce it differently. Or something like that :L
