Description
So to go with my Spike and Dru drawing I knew I needed to do a new Buffy and Angel but finding really high quality images to use as references finally I found an old promo image that someone had photoshopped a background onto but it was AMAZING I just had to use it- mostly because I wanted to do hands with as much focus as I had done on Spike and Dru.

Here's the 'wow did I psych myself out' moment- as Spike and Dru came along SO QUICKLY I thought Buffy and Angel would be just as easy DAMN WAS I WRONG. 6 attempts to get David to look like David >.< I also realized how much rage I have for Twilight everytime I looked at Angel's hair and went "why does he look like Edward!?!?!? DAMNIT TWILIGHT!" that was said pretty much every 20 miniuets in some of these drawings. XD

Yes I know the photo used had Angel in a brown velvet quilted coat and I wanted him in black- as it was the color he wore the most all the vamps did- but I wanted to keep Sarah in the pale purple she wore in the photo (just minus the silver sparkels) because she did wear a lot of pastels. "Well if you changed his costume why didn't you change hers and put her in a coat?"

Because. Sunnydale is in Southernish CA- which is warmer than Northern CA. I lived in San Jose for 4 years and it only EVER got to 'coat' weather- once. A light weight jacket or hoodie? Suuuure maybe a few times but for a wool coat? Nope. So that was just a major pet peeve.

NOW the title is not a Twilight rip it's actually a quote from Giles to Angel. Season I. Am I ripping on Twilight? No- as a fangirl who's been told her tastes are stupid I try to make an effort not to do that it's just when it comes to Vamp stuff I'm a 'purist'- and seriously how amazing was this show? XD So amazing- it even aged well.

It's because of Buffy and Firefly when Joss was announced as the Writer/Director for Avengers I legit jumpped off my couch and wooted. XD

Finally the stats!
Done on X-Press It Blending Card with BIC Mechanical Pencil under Copic SP Multi-Liner in Black and Copic Multi-Liner in Sepia with Copic Sketch Markers for color with white charcoal then rubbed with q-tip to soften.

Some of my sketch markers have done this WEIRD thing where they get a shiny sort of residue/ streaky especially on my dark colors trying to figure out how to fix.
