I think this is the best fur detail you've done yet in my opinion. The long fur around the head looks really cool, and I also like the movement in the picture.

thanks. i think i can agree about the fur. i had some fun with the head hair. and i like dynamic poses so i try my best to make them.

well actually it wasnt. i just emulated seth's (super street fighter 4) jumping high kick. it's an extreme pose but i liked how it looked so i drew it as close as i could.

Its what I like in all anthro warriors. Big muscles and big feet. He He

well i dont usually see anything else with any warrior. always big hands, feet, muscles, and action. now that i think about it. if a warrior was skinny and small that would look wierd. thanks for the comment also.

I just finished my piece as well, been awhile since i done a piece that took me about a day and a half to finish.Anywaysthis piece of art is really intresting, love the way you made the fur the texture the anatomy and all.It really is quite a piece to be both pleased and satisfied as well as fulfilled.

i dont usually spend much time on anything either. pleased to read that aswell. the fur texture too the most time and the most monotonous strokes. metals are a chore for me too.

Anything is worth it as far as idea's go that you have to get out that one specific piece that's always on your mind. What usually one wouldnt do turns into one come to love.I remember back then while human anatomy become something that didnt cause to much trouble, human anatomy combined with animal became a new issue since not only did the fur had to be fit in but also the fur and the muscle so in actualality it was one thing with 3 more things to figure out, even for cgi artist to get the realisim they searched for.Today for most its become an obstacle achieved, others are still working on it as the rest learn from the the others. But with a little time and patience as well as the right environment and situated comfort, anything can be achieved it just have to be broken down and tooken bit by bit. There's really more than one way to do it,it all depends on the artists style.
Anyways,love the art.

im sure there are more than one way to do it but going in, doing it this way has gotten me closer to the goal i wanted so i may stick to it. i think there is way to make a predefined partern but i dont knoe how. but all fur is different so it may fail. anatomy is important but and fur is simple to sketch but digital coloring make it some thing different for me.
but yeah thanks

true,The fur always changes, not just between thickness and thiness but the species as well,i suppose It depends on what the artist is looking for.Anyways, your welcome and yeah whatever works long as you get there.
