Description
First of all, I would like to convey my deepest apologies to those of you who know what wolves really look like. Because apparently I don't, despite my best efforts at pretending to. Meh, never said animals were my strong point.Anyway, this is 's LONG overdue kiriban picture for *cough*1500*cough* pageviews. It is a picture of her character, Felan, sleeping with his pack of wolves. I tried to make up for it being so late by doing as good a job as I could, and I wasn't even planning on drawing a background, but it just sort of wanted to be done, so there you go. I hope you like it! He looks a bit girly to me, but I'm not sure how that happened... I used my boyfriend for pose reference and everything, and my boyfriend is distinctly *not* girly...

Aw, right now I wouldn't mind being there... He do look a little girly but not that much really. It's the long hair (people I know always thing my longhaired guys look like girls... ) and the hip, but hips show more in that pose.
I think it's a nice try on the wolves, seeing you haven't done them earlier. They ain't that far fetched, as you say reminds of sled dogs ^^

Yeah, it's mostly the hip. Because I watch anime and stuff so much that long hair doesn't automatically mean "girl" for me, so that must be it. And maybe they're not the greatest wolves, but they are awfully cute sled dogs.

The "girly" factor is probably due to the fact that 1) Felan has long hair, and 2) even a guy's hips are going to be more noticable when he's on his side.

YAY!! I'm so glad you like it!! And I blame the girly factor on the hips (which *are* due to laying on the side like that) and his peaceful expression. Guys are so cute when they sleep, it's hard to make them look super manly. I wouldn't blame it on the hair, though - I find long hair on a guy extremely UN-girly most the time (it makes me happy).

it looks good. wolves are usually thinner than dogs and sharper angled (if that makes sense) and with longer legs. It looks so peacefull.
