Description This is the coloured version of my 'Kiss for my blinded beauty' pic. It took me a WHILE to finish this one, but... here it is! I hope you like it!

A kiss from your lips is all I long for, before the hour of saying goodbye comes... then, then, I could go into infinite solitude again. But the memory of your lips, the softness of your skin, the smell of your hair... that, will remain inside me forever...

PPl in my class think I draw porn too, because I first draw all the characters without clothing, and then, dress them up (which, by the way, is quite usefull for anatomy & stuff). So, they think I'm an ecchi, but I just don't mind them. So, don't let what those ppl say get too much to you. Most of people doesn't understand us, anime 'artists', so, why paying attention to them?

aii, yes i know its so friekn annoying, thats what i do too, but i dont add detail or anything.... i use circles and cylindars to make the frame, then i make the outl;ine, when thats finished, (and looks good ) i put their funkadelic clothes on. so, yea. clay's like you sicko, i just look at him blankly and....he just smiles and laughs, hes so dang annoyiong ur welcome

intenta ponerles un poco de sombra. para que se vean opacos. Te daria una referencia para que vieras pero perdi mis screenshots de Kenshin cuando estaba ciego. sorry -_-U

I like it, but the cel-shading... hmm. I'm not going to say that you shouldn't have cel-shaded it, because I don't hate cel-shading. But you only seemed to do shading. Adding some highlights might help. Or just something to make the picture more dynamic. Cel-shading is great, but basic cel-shading I think should just be used for animation. For pictures, you can either do the cel-shading in a fantastic way or do a combination of cel shading and regular shading. They do it the way they do for animation to save time, but you don't really need to save time, you have no deadline and you're not making a series of a billion pictures.

I don't know, just my thoughts. I still like it, don't ever think that I comment on a picture I don't like.

You see, I only do cel-shading... because that's the only technique I've kinda 'mastered' *I know I still have LOTS to learn, though* when using photoshop. And, I take ages to finish a drawing. Sure, I wish I knew how to create nice CG effects, but... my limited photoshop knowledge, that'll be kinda impossible.

Of course, if you *or anyone mercyful enough * could show me how to create CG effects using Photoshop 6, I'd be more than grateful...

That goes line art to finish.

For me personally, I use different ways of coloring depending on what pic I'm doing. For quick drawings I'll use a super fast version of cel-shading. Basically i just make a new layer, lower its opacity to atleast 50%(I tweak it to fit the picture), I use the marquee and fill it in with black/white for shadows and highlights. I normally use multiple layers for different depths of shading and highlighting. For something a bit more than that, I make a new layer over the 'color' layer and set it to "multiply"(normal is the default). I change my brush(something with softer edges) and then alter opacity and flow(lower them), and then color on this layer using the same color as the one i'm trying to shade(although you can use diff ones to suit your need). For highlights its the same thing except make a layer set to "screen". I've also used these same methods at once and produce this picture:

Bout all I can think of right now. Experiment as much as you can is the only other thing I can say. Hope I helped.

GAsp ... YAY coloured ! Its excellent work too, I like the simple cell shading style and especially her skin tone, so soft and perrdy ! I really like the effect the shading has on the hair, it brings out the volume so much, makes it look very lush and lovely ! Nice
