Description Everytime I want to draw a real person I first try to draw them as realistic as I can. Sometimes I even straight up trace a picture because what's important here is that you get to see and feel when you're drawing it the specific characteristic that persons appearance have. Like: does it have a big nose? asian eyes? big jaw?

And then you put all of what you learn into your style!
I'm awful at explaining what I do but I tried mah best :S

this is awesome advise! That's exactly how i forced myself to learn how to draw humans this year. Reference is best, and most important in the beginning when you're still figuring stuff out!

I did some realism, but I'll try to do more in 2017!
