Not on Deviant art much, all questions in F.A.Q. or on CanadaCosplay site This is one of the winning hats from the 2012 Hat contest!
My artistic interpretation of the entrants image for a Cheshire cat hat with a fun grinning mouth when the paw scarf is wrapped around. Otherwise general badassery made me interested in the submitted sketch and I knew I could do a good job at the challenges this presented with the Canadacosplay patterning we're already known for!

Hat Features:
Maw
Little white pointed fangs surrounding the face

Interior Brim
The CanadaCosplay interior brim pattern allows for the exciting shapes with the seamless look while still retaining functionality.

Hand Painted Details
Fabric painted paws, stripes and facial features

Scarf "Paws"
Long paws hanging off either side of the face can wrap around your neck as a long scarf!

Realistic ear shape
With a cat like silhouette, ears are my classic 2008 cat ears but backward on the hat to make it look more angry

Curve and Concave
My classic built in pockets and ear curve gives the ear a sophisticated and realistic shape while helping the ears remain upright!

No seams behind the ears
No cut-off seams on the back of the ears, allow for a pleasing attached (not cheap!) look.

Ears tilt backward
I design my patterns for semi-realistic animal ears to defy the "side seam" and counter-angle the tilt. This allows for more animal accurate backward ear tilt.
