This critique has been left on behalf of Graphite-Gods, as requested.
I think you have done a pretty good job, but there's a few things you could do to really lift this to another level.
The one major concern is all the detail which has either been lost in the dark of his jacket or missed off (maybe due to the time you had to finish this in). You shade the jacket with the same directional lines of shading and the edges of his sleeve can be barely seen anymore - all this area is appearing flat. If you check the photo, there are some lighter highlights in the jacket and dark shadows which if added to the drawing, they would really help depict the sleeve area. At the moment, it looks like his right hand is floating and it's hard for the viewer to realise there is a connection between the thumb and forefinger (also, the detail on one half of his waistcoat is missing).
You haven't mentioned what pencils you have used and it looks as though you have used one or two pencils), you would be amazed at the results you can achieve with more of a range of pencils - I think the shading on the face would have been better achieved with pencils ranging from 2H-6H, as it's often tricky to get subtle shading light enough with a HB or 2B pencils. Using a clean tissue for smoothing out shading marks can also be a useful way of lightening shading marks or to help them appear more graduated (never use your finger! Which I can see you didn't do). Also, you will find using pencils ranging from 3B -6B can help you achieve the really dark areas needed in the drawing. Putty rubbers are good for molding into a point and can be used to pick out fine highlights (I prefer to just cut my erasers to the shape I need when I want a fine clean point to achieve highlights).
The above tip on using putty rubbers or cutting up erasers for highlights would also serve you well in introducing highlights into his hair as this area is also reading as flat. You have done a good job in capturing the shape of his hair. The hair could also benefit from some much darker shadows being added.
A for capturing the likeness of the actor, this can be a merciless exercise, as I've found in the passed - a nose drawn just a few millimetres off, will seem like the wrong nose, etc. - it can be cruel on the artist. I tried switching back and forth between viewing the drawing and the photo and only little things stood out for me - the eyebrows in the drawing are as dark as his eyes, while the eyebrows are a bit lighter in the photo. The actor seems older in your drawing and I think that's due to you having used a too dark pencil on the shading and how some of the lighter areas of shading needed to support the contours of the face are missing.
I think you have done a commendable job in this portrait, but if you have time to try out a few of the things I've suggested, I believe this will improve the drawing.
