Eret did not understand why in all of Tokotna Zaleena had insisted on going fishing again with this young punk who had knocked her into the river. He was still wet behind the ears as far as Eret was concerned, and who cares if he was named after a strong wild cat. Leo was still needing to earn the large Dire's respect, even if Zaleena seemed to be incredibly at ease with the young goldie.

Accompanied this time by Leo's feline handler Eret and Zaleena trod easily across the open ice field towards a more protected spot that would stop the wind from chilling them all to the bone. Zaleena guided Leo and cross carefully along while Eret trod ahead, sniffing the ice to find a thinner piece to break through. Zaleena with all that extra fur around her feet found it both easy and hard to keep up at the same time depending on how quickly they were moving.

Finally Eret let out a low rumbling growl, signalling the group to stop. Pawing at the ground he then gave a shake of his mane and dug his claws into the ice. Puffing out his chest, quite obviously to show off to the young whipper snapped and Cross, Eret raised high onto his rear legs. Grinning widely he let all his weight fall forward onto the ice, and with a resounding CRACK the ice split open.

All four of them working together they pulled the large ice chucks out of the newly formed hole and slid it across the rock piles nearby. Zaleena was the first to dig in, gleefully jumping into the frigid waters to catch the first fish.

Eret is so annoyed omg. Leo, why. Leo, run away plz.
Everyone should be like Zaleena and just have fun with fishing :'D
