Gather round boys and girls, it's story time.So I baby-sit for this one little girl. Every time I put her to bed she has me read a story from a book and she makes me make up a story. If she recognizes the story, she has me make up another one. She also loves animals so all stories have to involve talking animals. Most of the time I make up some generic story, but one time I could not think of anything. I was drawing a total blank. So, I turned Mortal Kombat into a child friendly story. She seemed to like it. She thought everyone had funny names.
Obviously, this part has little to do with Mortal Kombat. I just had to change the ending so it would have a moral.

I really couldn't think of an animal for Raiden. His animality was an electric eel, but that just looked weird. I figured there's a mythical Thunderbird, so he became a bird. Even if it is the wrong mythology.

Lightning = sky. Really, I couldn't think of an animal for Raiden, so I made one up. I think when I originally told the story he was a dog, but I don't remember.

Hotaru stands for order, not justice. I was actually thinking of doing the story with Reptile, Noob, and Quan Chi being the three little villains with the Big Bad Scorpion. Instead of blowing your house down, he'd yell, and he'd rage, and he'd burn your house down!
