I recreated [link] 's Hyrule crest(that's the hardest part)
Then positioned the crest over the iris with it's mode set to screen. I then used the mask tool to erase certain areas then used the burn tool to create a kind of 3D effect.

Well I did darken her image with Photoshop levels. And GAussian blur for the dark fuzzy stuff around the pic
