The photo ofthis used to be a skewed, crappy thing, but Will-the-uber-photo-fixer-d00d ever so kindly fixed it up for me- without even being asked! Thanks Will! Check out his stuff at [link]This was done mostly with my wrong hand, so I guess in a way I'm proud of it. I still don't like it much though.
The photo it was done from was just one in the school's source folders, but somewhere this person exists so I guess it's a portrait.

I really like the soft blending of the tones on the cheek and nose area... The highlights of the left side of the neck take a bit power from the lighting as it should probably be darker but great shading anyway!

on a more critiquing note, I really like every inch of skin, and that EYE. And you're right - the photo is crappy, photos are never that great though.
