Description Believe it or not, that's supposed to be Rundas at Bryyo fire. I could have done better, but it was really hard to draw the scene all together, including the main character.

I've been wanting to draw this for a long time, to have a picture to finally go with this story I wrote [link]

Just as long as I'm around, I say Rundas remains alive.

During the battle Rundus talks to Samus. It'sīģŋ hard to make out, but if u listen, u can hear Rundus' voice. "Can you hear me, Samus?" "Samus, Run!" "Samus, it's too late, kill me!" "Finish it Samus!" Rundus was fighting back against his corruption. There is controversy over the original story, Dark Rundus defeated Samus before Dark Rundus could finish Samus, Rundus broke free of the control, he knew he would lose control, so Rundus killed himself before that happened, hence the ice impalement

That...looks...INCREDIBLE!

Dark and gritty, it has that sci-fi flavor and still gives off a feeling of regret.

I was actualy really put off by Rundas's "death". He was such an interesting new character, and that scene where he saved Samus in that giant pit was amazing.

Rundas was always amazing, and all ways will be - just as long as I keep writing stories and drawing pictures dedicated to him.

That scene is actually based from my story, as Rundas reflects on what had happened (if you would look back at the title, you can see a giveaway clue about his condition at the moment).

I'm just sorry to say that Rundas had to "die"...

I know - I read your story. That's why I put "death" in quotations, because while the game presented it as though he was dead, your story tells otherwise.

My bad. I'm dumb at times. In fact, I realized what you meant right after I sent the message.


Everybody would be surprised to find out why Rundas lived (besides the obvious fact that I decided to honor his "death" by a story). You would never guess.

Unless you can connect it with the other stories I wrote. The only problem with that is that I haven't written far enough in the other two to provide clues. My Lucario story is probably the first and most vague one to present initiations. The KPY story will just blatantly point it out - but that would be a while.

I undergo too many writer's blocks for my pleasure.

There's no cure for writer's block that I know of (aside from time and perhaps some coincidental inspiration), so, unfortunatly, all I can do is wish you good luck on your future writing.

I like Rundas. He wasn't a douche, unlike some of the other hunters. And Ice is one of my favorite elements of nature, one of the koolest elements too (pun srsly not intended).

So, "took me all day"... Does that mean you only worked on this for a day? I think that's pretty freakin' good for a single day's work. Heck, I would probably think it's still good even if it took you about a whole month to do this.

I wouldn't say "all day" - it was a few hours worth of work that was taken throughout the day. But it felt like a day.

Rundas IS the definition of cool.
