Description Another Tolkien character. This time it is BEORN from The Hobbit.

Beorn was of immense size and strength for a man, and retained his size and strength in bear-form.
He lived with many animals and was a farmer. He never ate his animals, he was a vegetarian.
He transformed himself in a bear-form and wandered through the area, to fight foes (Orcs offcourse) and to meet other bears.

Beorn helped Bilbo, Gandalf and the 12 dwarfs in the Battle of Five Armies. He did this in his bear form, slaying the Goblin leader, Bolg, and his bodyguards.

In my picture you see him in the moment of transformation into his bear-form.

I love the way you have portrayed his transformation. It's a bit creepy, the way it should.

Wow. Thank you for taking the time to wrote another sweet comment. I am very happy that you like this picture. Especially when it includes a character that you like since your childhood. I realy appreciate your thoughts and comments. It shows me I am on a good way.
This pictures was done in a week and I allways been a struggle. Thats why I did not draw some foes around him. I was afraid to mess up the picture.

An Elf? Shure, why not. Which one comes into your mind? Gil-galad? I have no idia.

My only 'critique' would be to remove the helm. A bit more hair and darker as well. Excellent snow! Keep up the great work! May I see an Elf? any other innterpretations? Just keep it up!

YES! Another neglected and immensly important character! I am a quick fan of yours since you have taken the time to create these works of a few of my favourite characters. I know the actor I had in mind as a kid who would be Beorn in my own film. An immense presence, dark hair, booming voice, and a massive smile , yet a scowl that would promise death. Your take is original, and I don't recall the last time I used the word. The split face is a welcome sight. Initially I didn't like this piece yet when I thought of an animated, new and full-told tale, it makes great sense. Well done yet again!

I love the motion here.

You really nailed the character.

I particularly enjoy the work on the axe. The finish is very polished. Lot of detail on it.

Brilliant work.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have such details on other pictures too but I always did a mistake. I used the wrong size on the textures. This time I did it better.

Your comment is very welcome, like allways. Thank you.
