Description another gift... this one's for my indian ading Jason ^^

ok, this took me waaaaaaaaaaay longer than i expected it to.... mainly because i'm not used to painting like this #1, and #2 i'm definitely not used to painting city backgrounds. hopefully that doesn't mean this picture sux, since i spent about a week and a half on it. anyway, sorry jason, it doesn't look exactly like u i think i'm gonna try to actually do some of my characters that DON'T have to look like anyone in particular.... -.- it's getting annoying now cuz i've done it too much... i don't really usually even care about the face, i just want the overall look of the character to resemble ppl i know sometimes....but i think i'm the only one that thinks that

so yea, u can read my rambling or not, i just hope u enjoy the picture

I know what you mean about having your original characters resemble someone in real life... I usually keep tweaking their faces until they don't XD

Anyway, this is fantastic! I especially love the use of perspectives to compliment the overall composition <33

Great perspective.
With regard to backgrounds its usually a good idea to give some atmospheric effects, though with this piece the way you did it works as this has more of a comic book feel to it.

thanks ^-^ I was thinking of scrapping the lines layer and just making it completely painted like my last piece... it was looking pretty good without the lines, too, but it would require a lot more work and i just don't have much time to work on this one anymore, at least for now. You're definitely right about the atmospheric effects. I hope to work on that and lighting more next time ^^

awww thanku ^^ I think you can actually do it too tho. all of my old stuff was just characters w/out the backgrounds, but then i just decided to work more on bgs cuz it would look better.
i guess this is my first try w/this type of bg I've seen your work too, and i think u can do it if you play around with sketching out and coloring backgrounds whenever u make characters. as long as u can enjoy it, it won't be too hard ^-^
