Ahhh another gorgeous collab. I like the posing a lot, the little dolls in particular are so cute and I just all the details about it overall, the characters, the dolls, the background, all of it.

Man, it's been such a long time since Marisa and Alice last teamed up... Heck, Alice has sorta been relegated to the sidelines lately, hasn't she? Last time she appeared as a playable character in a game was all the way back in Hisoutensoku, wasn't it? That's really not treating the namesake of your circle with due respect, Kannushi. I mean, it's pretty bad when the bunny who's only good for her sex appeal sees more time in the spotlight than Alice does.

Me neither. His technique is amazing but recently he's been doing such 'over-filled' composition that not only do I not know what it's about but I can barely understand what the drawing is because there is too much stuff happening everywhere and the characters don't stand out enough from all the extra stuff happening.

Something is kinda obvious about this particular piece.
There is nothing hard to read about it, but it's impossible to focus on all what's going on. The only real part of the drawing that attract the eye is Alice's eye because of the combination of blue and nearby yellow and red. Anything left past the middle/bottom doll seems irrevalent since we already identified the context with their body language and knows dolls are panicking.
The image as stand-alone would be way more readable and impactful if just the right part was kept in portrait format, but this "full scene" looks more like a game cutscene in which all the scene need to be drawn to fit the screen. If that is what they intended, this could explain why the composition is the way it is.
