The saddest story of all time: While drawing the app art for him my tablet pen broke, which means my tablet is now useless, which means this is probably the last digital art you'll see until August (rip) since I leave for Japan tomorrow!

Literally only finished this because I borrowed a tablet from a friend, so amazing.

Also yes, Atticus is back. Yes, he is still normal Atti.

ABILITIES
Crystal Manipulation: Creation, shaping, and manipulation of crystals. Currently he uses three kinds of crystals; amethyst (purple), jadeite jade (green), and calcite (pink). These cannot be used at the same time. Each crystal has a different use:
   Amethyst: Used to create tiny crystal bullets. He can only use one at a time, and easily shatters due to their hardness, thus cannot pierce through armor, metal, and such. Accuracy is dependent on Atticus' own ability, which is, to say the least, not very good, and cannot go further than 10 (3 meters) feet away from him without dissolving away, thus making it, for the most part, quite annoying to use.
    Jadeite jade: Atticus' go to for defense. He can create a barrier up to 6 feet high, so if you're over that, that's just too bad. The barrier cannot be made past a foot away from him. The jade cannot stop any bullets or any attacks like it.
    Calcite: Honestly, he's not sure what he can do with this being as it is too soft to be an attack and yet not good enough to act as a defense, so he usually will make these simply for gifts. It looks pretty though.
Mediumship: Can "communicate" with spirits. However this can only occur by him being taken over by the spirit for the whole time, and it may come up when he least expects it. The interaction will leave him quite weak so that he will be exhausted for the rest of the day, so he does not do this often.
Flight: Those wings aren't just for show.

Divine punishment:  Atticus’ biggest fear is being punished by the Seraphim, who are in charge of all angel activity. The Seraphim are known for their cruel punishments, and Atticus himself has had a taste of it in the past.
Failure: Failure to do things correctly results in punishment, and so Atticus is careful not to mess up. Many things, including his outward appearance, can and will be judged, and so he tries his best to stay as orderly as possible.

PERSONALITY
Prim and proper would be a very vague yet also accurate description of Atticus. He is, for the most part, rather mannerly and seems quite refined. Despite this, he is not much of a gentleman. He is rather blunt with his words, and a bit of a pessimist as well. Not the ideal individual to go share your worries with, as he is not one to brighten people up most of the time. Atticus can be polite when he needs to be, but all actions and words are rather cold, just like his personality. He could be most comparable to a wall with his attitude.

  Atticus does not care for fights and arguments unless need be. He will often try his best to end an argument quickly if it arises, and will thus seem extremely disinterested in anything the other party says. He will only seem to argue when it is a silly banter with a friend. Motivation to fight only seems to appear when there is a sense of danger, which then he will sacrifice his safety for the well being of another.

  Towards people he is acquaintances with, Atticus is a little more laid-back. He still is a bit cold, but he does often care about his comrades. Perhaps if the friend is close enough, he may even crack a smile and tell a joke. It is common for him to give friends small crystals as gifts. As he very much cherishes his friendships (though he will never admit it), he can be quite protective of them if needed.

HISTORY
Born from the soul and willpower of an English soldier, Atticus was created by the heavenly magic of the Seraphim. Born for the sole purpose of guard a human, Atticus was immediately taught how to serve and protect. And like all angels, he learned keep his feelings under control, for emotions were too human and would interfere with proper judgement. Thus Atticus was taught not to get attached, nor express any feelings, thus acting rather stoic for most of his life. In his early years, he made no friends except for a single shapeshifter by the name of Jing Hua, who acted as his companion as well as messenger.

After a while's worth of training, Atticus was assigned to a human. This human was his life, and should he fail to protect this person, he would be punished. And so he tried his best to take care of this soul, who was unaware of the angel's existence. It seemed he was doing rather well too, as the human, though frail, was healthy enough, and looked as if they were to be rather successful in life. However, demons were starting to appear more and more frequently, and soon he found himself coming face to face with a malicious one of Envy, who had taken over someone with close relations to his human. The other became murderous, and desperate to do his job right, Atticus attempted to save his human, but was unsuccessful, resulting in death of the one he was to guard. This was immediately notified by the Seraphim, who gave him the punishment of being a Fallen for a century, the only way to end this punishment after that time being if he were to receive forgiveness from his human's soul.

  Ultimately he was able to find the human and gain back his angelic status, but not without meeting and getting to know a handful of other angels. He spent only a handful of years with these friends, however, before being called back up for business, where he was sent to help teach new angels proper etiquette. This soon became rather boring, however, and after a year of this, he decided to try to get in contact with friends. With the help of Jing Hua, he was able to spot one friend, Kichi, and determine where he were headed, which appeared to be some sort of academy. But how strange it would be to go alone. He quickly set out to find another friend, Rena, to accompany him and surprise the other.

  Searching for her also took a bit of time, but finally he was able to track the other angel down. With quite a few words he was able to convince her to follow him to this strange new academy to surprise and reunite with their old friend.

TRIVIA
British accent. Yes.

Prefers wearing white over any other color. He's just wearing dark colors because it seemed fitting.
Can make a contract with someone. It doesn't mean he will.
Does not welcome hugs, kisses, or any sort of touching unless it is with someone he is comfortable with.
Can cook up a pretty nice meal. Despite his British roots, he is quite good at cooking, though baking is a little questionable.
Not the friendliest person in the world, but he's not too picky when it comes to friendships.
