Yes, but Kitti does not wear womens clothing because of 'habit or compulsion', he wears them because he can, wants to and likes them. Or because he's been forced to. This does not make him a transvestite. He is a feminine boy, who is mistaken as a girl, and wears females clothes either by want or force.

The difference is that a transvestite thinks they ARE a woman, or makes it more obvious that they try to be a woman. Fake breasts, voice, whatever else.

Transsexual is the one that is gender-confused, transvestite (emphasis on VEST) is simply someone who cross-dresses.

In my mind, the definition of Transvestite is a guy that wears too much make up, and tries tooo hard to BE a female. Drag Queens and the like for example.
My Kitti is clearly not like that. It's like saying masculine gays are like feminine gays. Yes, they're both gay but there is a difference.

I'm assuming you meant to say 'I apologise', because there is simply no reason for you to be demanding I do so.
And what's I'm saying is that that simply isn't the definition of a Transvestite, and many would snap at you for saying so.
Just because they dress like women (and look like freaks, in many cases), doesn't mean they WANT to be a woman, they just enjoy it, for whatever reason (far too varied to list, like most psychological characteristics).
Drag Queens are a sub-category of Transvestites, probably a term that refers specifically to those who wear a lot of make-up, and look like prostitutes.
Normal Transvestites (ie: those who aren't abnormal in some other way as well) have a completely normal sense of gender identity, and sexuality, they just like wearing women's clothing.
I wasn't suggesting your character was like that at all, I was merely stating that he is, by very definition and intention of the term, a Transvestite.
Your interpretation of the term is wrong, and in a way which could be offensive to some people, you should try and consciously change it

I didn't mean it as a demand from you. It was, indeed, a typo on my part. I meant 'Apologies'. I'm a bit more then a little sleep deprived since my 7 month old niece, and her mother, are staying with me.
Again, though, what would it matter what he is. If you don't like the femoboi characters (I do refuse to call him a transvestite since he is a femboi), why both commenting saying that you dislike them and that they have to be your definition?
I do realise that my views on the word are incorrect, and I do not go out of my way to offend someone and demand they change to suit how I view them. I simply state that is what I see transvestites as, and it's not going to change. I 'catagorize' people, if you will, by what they really are, or how they act. Drag Queens, Homosexuals, fembois, tomboys, straights, whatever.
And, no, I'm not going to change how I am just because one person has their panties in a bunch over it. ;3

I didn't suggest you did all that, and that way of thinking is perfectly valid.
However, the word transvestite has a specific meaning, and for you to use it any other way in conversation with someone who doesn't know how you intend it is simply ridiculous, it's just something you should know.
Because I used the word as it is defined, and you got pissed off about it, even though it was your interpretation of the word that was wrong, and not my use of it.
