A certainty the seasons are about to change when the roadside "lens" is ablaze with brilliant gold and ocher autumn colors. These are about the size of a wristband pin (wristwatch) and have a sweet fragrance. Following a wet summer, these may form a hedge lining both side of the roadways as they bloom atop 1 to 3 foot high bushes by the thousands.
