Opposites Attract... hrmhrm, I mean ATTACK.
I haven't seen much fighting pictures of this lovebirds, so I decided to draw these two. Fighting. And Korra looks like she is going to bend all that water in Mako's brain. <.<
Poor Mako.

I can't wait to see the series. I love these two characters, Korra and Mako. Both are passionate benders, but I had so much trouble drawing Korra waterbending... she is such a hothead. If you ask me, her matching element would be rather fire than water.

but I had no time to include him in ths pic. I'll draw him later. Perhaps.Drawing this was really good, I could practice with light-shading, poses and drawing fire was also the first time for me.
So this was a real challenge.... it's really nice to draw some Avatar stuff again.

Not that Korra uses water all that often...(though I don't blame her, it must be nice to firebend and not have to worry about carrying around a sack of water like Katara did)

(Vi que colocaste tu dibujo en un grupo latinoamericano y dije "Siii!! puedo escribirle en españool!!). Está muy genial!! Yo no conozco bien estos dos personajes porque tampoco vi mucho la serie. De verdad que está muy bien! Sólo te diría que tuvieras cuidado con algunos detallitos de anatomía (el brazo derecho de Korra se ve algo raro, en la parte del músculo, y la mano izquierda de Mako se ve muy simplificada para el estilo en que fue dibujado).
De resto, me parece genial

ahora que lo dices, acabo de notar que el brazo de Korra se ve un poco raro. arrgh. curse you anatomía!!XD
hmm la mano de Mako... si sierto.. pero la unica buena escusa que tendria, seria que lo estaba terminando de pintar a media noche. x.x

No te preocupes! A veces me pasa que trato de hacer que un dibujo quede perfecto, pero estancarse en una obra tampoco es bueno. Sólo decía para que tuvieras eso en consideración cuando hicieras otro dibujo.

i dont watch nick so i havent seen any previews for it but i loved the original series when it was on (i have the full series as well; book 1, 2, and 3.), i am unsure how this series is going to play out though.....

well, "the Legend of Korra" is a spin-off of from Avatar: the Last Airbender.
It's made by the same creators who did the past series. This time, the series take more or less 70 years after the death of Avatar Aang and Korra is the new Avatar.

I recommend you to watch both episodes, Korra will be the same as awesome as the past series!
