There should be a backstory for this, but for the life of me I can't think of one.
I dont have photoshop anymore and I am trying to get it, but for now...pencil drawings it is.

I think despite Toph's tomboyish ways, they're going shopping and they're going to get new pants. Aang is thinking about the antics that will insue at the store; half perverted and half troubled.
I acutally think you did a good job on his pants, in comparison they look the same as they did in the show.

If you look at this drawing from different angles, you can make out the drawing "Crashing reality" in the background. And Toph's legs, I drew them just as reference and then erased them, but you can just about see them. Her pants appaer to be see-through.
