This is really pretty. For a moment I almost thought the snow was water though. I think footprints in snow would just be slightly less contrast. Snow usually doesn't have very dark shows, especially if it's near the surface like footprints would be.
I love the colors and atmosphere though. <3 good job.

Wow, this is such a gorgrous landscape. I really like the detail that you put into the flock of birds.
The footsteps in the snow look OK. They could be improved if you added more so there is a more gradual increase in size. As it is now the proportions look a bit off, like the footsteps are spread very far apart.
