The smile is a healing expression, when you see a smile you have to smile, it's great.
This simple colourful immage is very effective, as soon as you see it you smile, it is such a powerful concept.
Another addition to this is that it is done with breakfast cereal which to me says if you start the day with the smile you will feel tonnes better for the whole of the daye.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
I have to ask though, did you place the cereal on the spoon or did it appear on the spoon like this??
I think if it had just happened naturally so to speak it would have been awesome.
I really think this is a tonic, and would happily purchase it just to put it up in my work place for all to see.
I cannot fault it, it is too much of a tonic, just writing about the picture is making me giggle inside.

This photo captures an emotion, spreads it, and uses a very simple medium to do it. The impact and sense of fun immediately bypasses the intellectual defences and makes the viewer smile. I agree with a previous writer: this would be awesome on a waiting room wall!
The technical qualities are excellent, from the choice of focus and vibrant colour choice of the model. The composition of the sharp, clearly focused spoon and face directly over the myriad and chaotic bowl help focus the attention on the spoon. Even the light brown table, very flat and plain, helps to achieve this affect. It is simply a well-composed, excellently executed photo.
Even the reflections in the spoon invite exploration, as well as offering a bright light as a counter-point to the rest of the photo.
The concept is excellent, amazingly simple, and unique. I would never have thought to use something as mundane as cereal for this. The idea shows a unique eye for opportunity of artistic expression. The photo encourages thought and deeper unravellings, which is also a great thing to achieve. It is sort of "the gift that keeps on giving".
Other than saying this is a great photo, there is not much to add. I enjoy looking at it a lot, and it appeals to me. Even the crooked smile adds character to the face. It is a light, funny and very nice photo to have in your day!

This is a great piece, and executed so well, it no doubt brings a smile to my face when I see it. This would be a great poster to put on the wall of a therapy room. Or anywhere, for that matter.
The idea is amazing as well, and even though I'm not a photographer, I know many great ones that could never do this so well. I love how you blurred the background just slightly, that way the focus is on the spoon and face. I love this piece!

First of all.... AWWWWWWWW.. this picture makes me smile. You managed to bring out a persons emtion with your photograph... In my opinion, that means success.. I like how even though there are many fruit-loops, you played with the focus in such a way where your attention is directed to the spoon and the smile right away. There is no looking for a picture, there is no "is that what I think it is", it's blunt and makes people smile. It made me smile so I say you win!!! I can't begin to list how many mornings during my childhood that this has happened to me before. All manner of strange faces, close to today's ASCII emoticons, have appeared in my spoon. Each time it gives my day a fresh start, just like your photograph here. The bright colors and blurred bowl on the table remind me of that just awakened feeling. Whether this scene was staged to appear this way or not, it's brilliant and I hope to see more whimsical snapshots from you in the future. May you and everyone else that views this have an incredible day!

And this photograph is sure to bring a smile on everyone's face. With a colorful background, and a colorful expression, even the saddest of us all will be pleased for a while when he/she sees the artwork.
The moment I saw this piece and the title, I came looking to have a full glimpse at the full image. The idea was amazing! Using home-made cereal and just a spoon, an artist can stir up such an image that has so many emotions in it.
I believe this photograph would not have been so great had it not have such a colorful background. That only adds to the ambiance of the image.
Overall, this image was amazing and I was instantly attracted to it. The colors and the smile just brought a great smile on my face!.
