asked Gwae "If Gwae is associated with the Winter Fae does that mean her magic is only associated with winter and ice?"
asked Gwae: "Being a Winter Fey, did you have to learn magic or did it come naturally? Some of both? Can you teach me?"

Gwae's response: Most High Sidhe can use some magic that reflects the aspects of our courts. As a member of the Unseelie (Winter) Court, I have some small natural affinity with cold and ice, but there be others who are much more powerful than I, who can harness other aspects of their courts in powerful ways. However, I can also use "name magic" meself. That's a learned magic, not a natural one. Its a power that comes over knowing the true name of people or forces, and being able to exert some will over them. Its a wee bit hard to explain. Not all the Fae can use name magic, but Mortals and Formorii have been known to become powerful practitioners. The humans have gone so far as t' set up magical academies all across their world! There are other types of magic as well, like geomancy and divination, but I dinna know how to use those meself. I'm afraid I would'na be a good teacher, but I'm sure that the cabal at Menez-Mikael or Pays Cathare are always looking for new members! Best of luck to ye!
