June 10, 2011Today is my 29th birthday. My mom made me eggs and biscuits for breakfast like when I was a kid. I went to the beach alone and watched the waves. The seaweed wrapped around my legs. Listened to PJ Harvey. Realized in order to have happiness through experience, we must suffer a loss. A Honduran man asked me to take a shower with him and I drove away from him as fast as I could. Had lunch with my sister. Listened to more PJ Harvey. Took a shower and washed away the sand. Wasn't pleased with the photos at the beach that I took but I never really am pleased with my photos. Had sushi with my best friend Shari and really truly realized how heart broken I am going to be when I leave Texas.
