I finally finished my Weeping Angel Artwork , a drawing i started back in August 2011 in tribute for the 9/11 10 year memorial anniversary , (if you all follow my work here at DA you may remember me sharing a sketch of it

)due to personal reasons (moving etc...) i couldn't finish it in time, it took me 8 months to finish but hope it was worth the wait.Inspired by the beautiful angel sculpture of William Wetmore Story , i admired it for so long i always wanted to make my own rendition of it, i used myself and statue for reference.

I was gonna draw a weeping angel from doctor who for a contest but thought: maybe ill draw a real crying angel..! I was thinking of this exact pose. Then i saw yours and gave up on life...

hehe its ok i dont mind i just wish i knew what it was , i looked it up
and they do make angels look a bit scary which i dont get and dont

I saw the angels episodes ang got more afraid of statues than angels.

Tell me about it... i went to a feild trip one day and while the students were eating outside i noticed stautes were surrounding us...creepy.

That's not the Weeping Angel per se, but the Angel of Grief.

Although, according to Doctor Who mythology, the Angel of Grief could be a Weeping Angel as well.
