You have got to be the luckiest damned person I've ever met. You always end up in the right place at the right time to get some amazing shots of these A-list performers.
Heavy critique
What I like:
First off, look at Taylor's hands. Not only is she playing a chord, you can actually see her right index finger extended to pluck. You managed to capture her in the process of plucking without any blur or softness in this part of the shot. Very well done.
The lighting, albeit natural, worked very well here. Look at the jewelery on her left wrist, the guitar strap on her shoulder, and her hair. You captured this very well.
What I don't like:
The only beef I have is the position of the microphone and the mic stand. It's blocking her mouth, and that's something you want to see when taking a photo of a vocalist. The only fix would have been to physically move to your right to snap this, which could have potentially taken your lighting angle away. Some artists are just more photogenic than others while performing, and I don't think she's one of the real photogenic ones. But then again, she's very young, and will probably develop this skill with age and experience. Can't blame the photographer if the model isn't cooperating.
Overall, wonderful shot of an emerging country/pop crossover artist. Hope you indulged on some good chili while you were there

I would have moved to get just her singing but I really couldn't move that well otherwise I would have gotten punched in the face.. haha. A couple people were yelling at me (drunk people at a country concert= danger). But it was fun, and im happy how these turned out!
