Edit: I changed her dress for jeans and a camp shirt. Might be more...fitting for training xD. And added a few wounds. After all, Annabeth is terrific with the knife.Edit II: WHY THE HELL DID NOBODY BOTHER TO TELL ME THAT THERE WAS I GIANT SPOT I FORGOT TO COLOUR UNDER PIPER'S ASS?! ;_; I forgot that bit after I deleted the dress. You can't go around letting me have a fault like this for a year, now I'm sitting here and staring at it out of disbelieve...
Ah, finally. This took me so freaking long because I had to pause so often due to university and stuff. Well, it's finished now and I still think that the sketch looked more dynamic. I'm satisfied with the colouring on Piper and Annabeth (that's her in the foreground) but the background lacks depth. I was too lazy though because I began that today and I wanted to get it finished.
This is Annabeth and Piper training in the sword fighting arena during the time the Argo II was build. After all, Piper has only half a year to become prepared for a war and he and Piper are the only untrained under the seven. They have to keep a steady and fast pace to catch up and training with Annabeth will probably be the best choice for Piper since Annabeth is pretty darn good with her knife. Btw, I forgot her wounds (just slight cuts but still). Will probably add them later. Just too tired and lazy now since my traineeship started and is really exhausting (I learn to handle a 3D program. So many buttons....my heads is going to spontaneously combust very soon
). Anyway, hope you like it!

I probably did the dress thing beause I first drew her fighting during her actual quest...but then I ended up thinking it would be cool to draw training and totally forgot all about her dressup..
When I get back home from University (where I am now), I'll probably change her clothing into a CHB shirt and jeans in her boots 
About the natural pose...yeah, the pose somehow looked better in the sketch (I uploaded it, don't know if you saw it) and also more dynamic. I don't know, maybe my lines are too static, I need to work on that more...I just added those lines because it looked like a statue makeup without them and I wanted to change that. I need to get more motion blur in next time, maybe that'll make it better ^^
Also, I'll probably change the colour of the dummy behind her because the colour really is simliar

Love the perspective! It's like you're looking over Annabeth's shoulder and really puts you right at this scene. While it does look very nice, this is not really how Piper was described as looking... Not that I should be talking. I showed Juniper with purple hair! I completely understand the originality of it, and that we can't control our imaginations, but I just thought I'd mention that. This is a really good piece of artwork, and I love the originality.

Personally, I think it's perfect... I love the dynamic quality of the image. And Piper in action? Yes! I haven't actually found any more of her doing anything practical, which is a shame.
But yeah, since she's mixed-race (Cherokee/white... 'The McLeans are a Scottish clan based on the Isle of Mull [I think - useless fact of the day]), her skin colour is open to interpretation. Personally, I see her as like this or a little paler. So maybe that's what Violet789897 was talking about... Just a thought.

There's Nico, who's a little Italian; Hazel, who's African American; Charlie, who's also African American; Piper, who's native American; Leo, who's spanish-ish (I dunno exactly right now); Frank, who's Chinese/Canadian; and so many others. And then we have the fact, that most demigods (and mostly the big three children) look Greek-ish anyway

I live in Germany, so we mostly don't have that much variety either. We have many Chinese and Indian people around at Universities but other than that...no, not very much :/ All I know is from movies, mostly.

I visited Berlin once... But, yeah, even though I'm a country girl at heart, part of me would be really interested to see a big city in America. You know, for the cultural experience.
It's funny how the internet brings people together, isn't it? I mean, I've lived in the middle of nowhere in Britain my whole life, but here I can talk to someone in Germany, and on Fanfiction the other day I got into a long and geeky conversation with an American girl. I like the way fandoms bring like-minded people together.

It was amazing!!
And OhMyGods what an ending... if it had to go out, that was the way to go. I loved the way Merlin waited for his return like in my favourite version of the legend.
But so sad. I spent the rest of Christmas Eve in fandom-shell-shock. Somewhat like after the Heroes Of Olympus rick-hangers; I felt like I'd had plenty of practise. XD
My current attempts to move on? I treasure my DVD boxset and comfort myself with the Doctor Who Christmas Special, re-read Rick Riordan and Narnia books and watch re-runs of CBBC's Young Dracula.

Yeah, I was in shock too alright...I compansated with writing fanfictions all night that night x_x and the week after that..and now still xP. Whenever I get sad, I write on my fix it fic
And the ending wasn't all bad, that's right. I just find it sad that Merlin has to wait that long, that he gets to see all the people around him die, the world change so much just to wait for Arthur's return back to him. It's so f**ing tragic ;_;
