A crowned god is gone in the senseless rage of his summers.The rain, he is pulling it back to the sky. The breath, he is stealing it.
The dogs feed on a flaunting madness,
A crowned god is lost in a whisper of tainted summer.
But he always remembers... and looks back.

Done with dip pen and ink.
Time spent on this goes over 12 hours, but the result really makes me happy.

Wow, I cannot believe how much detail you put into it, and how much effort that must have taken. This piece is truly amazing! I especially admire how much attention you put into keeping the uniformity in the border. Did you have a sketch underneath the ink or did you just draw it as you went?

This is absolutely magnificent! His gaze is piercing, but rings with regret. The detailing is awe-inspiring-- especially how the wolves' faces all seem to be connected with the same grain. Fantastic work!
