It'd probably be a midquel and it'd probably play out similarly to either Bambi II or Tarzan II. Which is something I kinda really want instead of a shitty betweenquel train wreck that was 1 1/2.

That third one and the second were forced. Honestly, anytime you get that fake British accent on the female love interest and force characters into a relationship, it's headed for a derailment. And while Despicable M3 had its moments, it was lacking in strong storytelling. Really, it had 0 memorable moments other than the villain's origin and Agnus finding her unicorn.
Maybe that's why I can't stop making train puns.
