Been in a funk ever since I found out that Steve Irwin died a few hours ago...I had "Blackbird" by Sarah Mclachlan playing and, well, I don't know if I'd call this a tribute, but I was thinking about him as I drew. He will be missed.

Good use of contrast and the complexity of detail within a simple color scheme. Love the coverging composition as well. However the light behind the bird's head seem a little unnatural against the rest of the pic..but overall a good work. ^^

The tail of the blackbird should be made clearer so to give the full inpression that it is in flight.
I have a version of Blackbird,,,but totally different.
