When I dyed my hair red, my friends kept saying I looked like Matt! I threw this outfit together for under ten dollars and wore it to the Death Note movie premiere. I'm probably going to wear it to Otakon. It's such a basic outfit, but instantly recognisable!Related content

Did you know your photo is being used by an online cosplay store to advertise their costumes? [link]
They seem to think that by linking their source it's OK to use other people's photos. My friend was able to get her pic taken down very quickly by just emailing them though.

Thanks so much for letting me know! Looking through the site, I at least feel better that they did have a separate picture of the costume they were actually selling instead of trying to claim that they were selling my exact costume. (I've seen sites do that.) The cosplay pics just seem to be for reference, but it's still rude of them to use them without letting the cosplayer know!

Other then the vest, Matt's outfit is actually pretty normal clothes. I had the jeans, boots, and gloves right in my closet! Thrift stores are always good for cheap clothing. I suggest Salvation Army, Goodwill, or any local store that sells used stuff. For the vest, I bought a plain vest of a simmilar cut and glued the strips of fur onto it. I painted a pair of swim goggles instead of paying all the money for actual biker goggles.

I had a lot of it already (the pants, boots, and gloves) so all I bought was the shirt, vest, and goggles. Most of it was from thrift stores!

Mine is fleece instead of suade (I added the fur myself), so it's really not that accurate. Cheaper though!

I got almost the entire outfit at thrift stores. I always find tons of striped shirts at Salvation Army. I have both the black and white and the back and red one!

He's still by far the most manly guy I've ever cosplayed. I mean Envy, Deidara, Shuichi, Kazuki...most of the guys I cosplay might as well be girls!
