Another in my series of "Travis vs. ______" series of No More Heroes fanart~ This time, the awesomely cool/sexy Death Metal... beholding his Holy Sword.
I wanted to show off Death Metal more than Travis in this picture... ohohohoh. Men with tight black pants are much love. Especially when they look like an anorexic Ganondorf.

You need to subtract a sword piece. There were only two + the handle...DEAR GOD I'VE MEMORIZED THAT SMEXY SWORD. Too bad he was the first boss. He was so badass.

Oh...and I just read your journal, and now I feel real bad. THE ART IS GREAT PLEASE DON'T HATE ME...I especially like this one, it gives Travis' view of his opponent, complete with a cool sun glare. And I love Death Metal's expression, makes him look cocky. Too bad he's about to die.

that image you are talking about is his official character artwork. Unfortunately there isnt any mention of slaves or whores of the like in his mansion, but he does have yakuza-type guys that fight you when you are in there. The girl only is shown as this artwork as a painting in his mansion, as well... tis a shame, I would've loved to see him getting some ACTION before Travis meets up with him... ohohohoho. it's so delicious.

Oh and don't worry, I pretty much have nightly rants with my sister which ensue No More Heroes fanart... I've already got twenty-four seperate illustrations [counting the three I've already posted on DA.] so they'll keep coming~!
The boss-fight illustrations only happen as I fight the boss, obviously, so it will take some time till I get to Destroyman! [whom I believe is next... ohohohoh, I can't wait.] But in the meantime I will be posting random art I've done, which can range from disturbing to silly. hehe.
and I LOVE Suda51/Grasshopper Studios... I love everything they do, hehe. One less company making cookie-cutter games that appeal to the masses and fits that niche of games for gamers who like to think, be weirded out, and distusted/amused. hehe.

It's the movie that inspired Suda51 to make this game. You also may understand the games ending(s) better. Very suttle, but SO worth it! (plus that movie kicks some wicked ass!)

Now you have no excuse to not watch it!

MMMmm... and yes, the older men in NMH is really what I'm all about... Death Metal, Dr. Peace, and the notreallyoldbutstill Letz Shake. Mmmm....
And I've seen the unlockables... thankfully the game that I was playing was a cleared game... so gogo superkatana and all of the outfits unlocked so I can choose everything to my pleasure... [Travis: Brown Jacket, Biohazard shirt, grey tinted glasses, black jeans... yum~]

This game is simply awesome, and further proof that Suda 51 rules (it's sad how Japan treated him at the game's launch). Of all the assassins, I'd say Holly Summers (her prosthetic leg that doubles as a rocket launcher was enough to get me to play the game, aside from the fact Suda 51 was making it) was my favorite. Can't wait to see your Travis vs Holly picture.
