*Edit: My boyfriend thought it would look better with a gradient, so now it has one. And he was right, it does look better.------------------------------------------------
I felt like doing some more knotwork tonight. It's nice to be able to finish something up in an evening, rather than taking 6 weeks about it.
I wanted to do something asymmetric and see how it turned out. This looks like it has right-left symmetry at first glance, but it doesn't. To me it looks a bit like fire.

i like how the lower part is dark and the upper part is lighter. Makes it look like an actual flame.

Thank you! It's funny how much easier these seem after having worked so hard on that chimaera thing. I still haven't figured out an easy way to do the little crossing bits though, so I draw those by hand and it takes forever.
